The Yakima Valley Conference of Governments (YVCOG) established a Yakima Valley Local Crime Lab that provides forensic investigative crime laboratory services to participating local law enforcement agencies. The Yakima Valley Local Crime Laboratory has an employment opportunity for an INVESTIGATIVE ANALYST MANAGER.
ABOUT THE INVESTIGATIVE ANALYST MANAGER POSITION
Under general direction, develops, reviews, and analyzes criminal reports; interprets patterns and trends; utilizes forensic evidence and communicates with law enforcement on open and ongoing cases. Manages, trains, and supervises investigative analysts assigned to the program.
In concert and partnership with the Local Crime Lab Laboratory Manager and other existing resources, the Crime Lab Investigative Analyst Manager will enhance law enforcement efforts.
The Analyst must be of good moral character and emotionally stable, as determined by a comprehensive background investigation to meet CJIS standards. Investigative Analyst solutions will support public safety, local and state law enforcements, and federal partners such as ATF, FBI, and DEA. Improving the future, increasing public safety, and protecting lives is the objective of this service.
